About Us

Wood Manor Furniture opened in January 1983. It is family owned and operated. We specialize in quality solid wood unfinished furniture, custom finishing, and unique decorative accessories. Our 6,000 square foot retail store and separate warhouse is located in historic Kirtland, Ohio; part of the old Connecticut Western Reserve. Located at 9258 Chillicothe Rd. (state route 306) just 2 miles south of Interstate 90. Our custom finishing shop is 3 miles away in Mentor, 7471 Unit I(eye) Tyler Blvd. We are open 5 days a week, 10-6 Tuesday through Saturday.

As you can see from the home page photo, our family includes a bunch of four footed furry felines. One day in 1991, we opened the store and found "WOODY", a young tabby, inside meowing. We think he came on a truck load of lamps the previous day. He was sick and starving and we said, " Well what would it hurt to have one cat in the store." Now years later, we offer a home to all the rest who have followed. All the Wood Manor cats were strays, or feral, living near our store. We felt a responsability to these cats as we were their only hope for a decent life. Woody has reluctantly allowed them to reside here. There are far too many homeless animals in the world and we ask everyone to be responsible pet owners. Please spay and neuter your pets as our rescued cats have been and help reduce pet overpopulation.
